The 2025 Festival!
Welcome to the Children’s Festival of Welsh History 2025
We will be celebrating our 10th birthday this year! – 10 years of staging a variety of events for schools at historic locations.
Thousands of children from all over Wales have had the opportunity to learn about Welsh heroes and heroines at inspirational and wonderful historic sites. Thank you to all the partners who have supported the festival over the last 10 years.
We have a great line up once again this year – live events; short films; workshops and talks.
Take a look at the programme, and book your favourite session, and we shall see you in September/October. Book early to avoid disappointment.
ABOUT US
The aim of the festival is to generate enthusiasm, mainly amongst children, for the history of Wales, providing unique opportunities to learn more about interesting characters and stories from the past; discover sites of historical importance, and celebrate the rich history and heritage of Wales.
