The 2024 Festival!
Welcome to the Children’s Festival of Welsh History 2024.
The festival has a wide range of activities on offer once again this year - from Owain Glyndŵr to the artworks of Kyffin, and from the world of Mary Jones to the story of Tryweryn.
The festival offers a range of digital workshops as well as some live events at heritage sites .
Thanks to all the partners who contribute to the festival, ensuring that most sessions are free for schools!
Have a look at what’s on offer; book your preferred sessions, and we shall look forward to seeing you in September/October. Book early to avoid disappointment.
ABOUT US
The aim of the festival is to generate enthusiasm, mainly amongst children, for the history of Wales, providing unique opportunities to learn more about interesting characters and stories from the past; discover sites of historical importance, and celebrate the rich history and heritage of Wales.
